Смотрите деталиCleaning your ice crusher is key to ensuring its longevity and food hygiene. Improper operation will not only make it impossible to clean, but may also easily damage the machine or cause personal injury. Follow these steps to clean your ice crusher safely and efficiently.
Before starting any cleaning steps, be sure to unplug the power cord and make sure the ice crusher is completely powered off.
Routine cleaning of ice crusher (after each use):
This is the simplest and most important cleaning to prevent the growth of bacteria and odor.
Dispose of remaining crushed ice: Pour out all remaining ice cubes and crushed ice in the ice crusher.
Clean the blade assembly (key steps):
Never touch the blade directly with your hands! This is the most dangerous operation as the sharp blades can easily cut your fingers.
Use the included brush or long-handled soft-bristled brush to reach into the ice crusher bin and brush off the ice slag and impurities attached to the blade and surrounding inner wall.
If the blade is removable (refer to the instructions), carefully remove it before cleaning.
Clean the casing and cover: Use a soft damp cloth dampened with a small amount of neutral detergent to wipe the machine casing, the inside and outside of the cover, and the power cord. Then wipe off any remaining detergent with a wrung-out damp cloth, and finally dry with a dry cloth.
Air drying: Open the cover of the ice crusher, place all parts in a ventilated place to dry naturally, and then reassemble or store it.
When there is mucus or odor inside the machine, deep cleaning and disinfection is required.
Disassemble parts: Refer to your product manual and remove all removable parts. Usually includes: upper cover, crushed ice bin/container, propeller (if any)
If the blade can be removed safely, use caution in this step.
To clean removable parts:
Soak the parts in warm water and mild dish soap for a few minutes.
Use a soft cloth or sponge to clean. Avoid using hard cleaning tools such as steel balls to avoid scratching the plastic parts.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Clean and disinfect blade and body:
For the non-removable blade part: Make a mild cleaning solution (warm water + a small amount of dish soap), and carefully wipe the blade and the inner wall of the ice bin with a soft cloth or long-handled brush.
Natural Disinfection: To remove odors and disinfect, make a baking soda solution (two tablespoons of baking soda in one liter of warm water) or a white vinegar solution (one part white vinegar to three parts water). Wipe the inner wall and blade with this solution, let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then wipe it with a clean damp cloth several times until no odor remains.
Again: keep your hands away from the blade when operating, and make sure the machine is powered off.
Rinse and dry thoroughly:
All parts are rinsed thoroughly with clean water to ensure no detergent or disinfectant remains.
Dry all parts with a clean soft cloth, then leave them completely open to air dry naturally in a well-ventilated area. Never assemble parts that are not dry to avoid bacterial growth.
It is strictly prohibited to immerse the entire machine or motor part in water or rinse it directly under the faucet! This can cause a short circuit and damage to the motor, and may create a risk of electric shock.
It is strictly prohibited to use corrosive and abrasive cleaners (such as bleach, strong acids and alkalis, scouring powder, etc.), which will damage plastic parts and metal blades.
Avoid using steel wool to avoid scratching the inner wall, producing microplastics and creating scratches that trap dirt and evil.
Always keep hands away from the blade when operating. Even when cleaning, assume the blade is sharp.
After cleaning, make sure all parts are completely dry before assembly.
